About the role
Lead high-impact analytics and applied AI initiatives across life sciences & healthcare as part of Deloitte’s SFL Scientific practice — from problem framing and model design to production delivery, measurement, and adoption.
What you’ll do
- Partner with LSHC clients (providers, payers, biopharma, med-tech) to scope analytics use-cases and deliver end-to-end data science solutions.
- Build and productionize models spanning predictive, NLP and generative AI/LLMs (incl. fine-tuning and evaluation); design data pipelines and BI dashboards for decision-making.
- Implement MLOps/LLMOps, monitoring, and model governance for regulated datasets (PHI/PII), including de-identification and auditability.
- Translate technical findings to executive stakeholders; drive adoption and measurable outcomes.
What you’ll need
- Hands-on expertise with Python/SQL, ML frameworks, feature engineering, model validation, and deployment to production.
- Experience applying AI/ML to LSHC problems (e.g., patient & provider analytics, operations, R&D, or revenue cycle).
- Knowledge of data governance in regulated environments (HIPAA/PHI) and de-identification strategies.
- Client-facing communication and stakeholder management; consulting or product delivery background a plus.

Base range (US) $130,800–$241,000
