About the role
Join Scale’s Machine Learning Infrastructure team to build and evolve the company’s Training Platform—powering high-throughput model training, evaluation, and data pipelines used across product teams.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and operate distributed systems for model training, scheduling, and resource management.
- Work closely with product, research, and infra partners to deliver new platform capabilities end-to-end.
- Tackle concurrency, performance, and reliability at scale; raise the bar on observability and operational excellence.
What you’ll need
- Strong systems background (distributed systems, scheduling, storage, networking) and production experience.
- Hands-on coding in a systems language (e.g., Go/C++/Rust or similar) and familiarity with cloud-native tooling.
- Bias for ownership, high-quality design, and shipping reliable infrastructure used by many teams.
Compensation (US)
Base range $160,000–$225,600
