About The Opportunity
My client is a high-growth, venture-backed AI company building enterprise software at the intersection of artificial intelligence, workflow automation, real-time product experiences, and operational intelligence.
This is a small, fast-moving, high-ownership environment where engineers work closely across product, design, backend engineering, customer-facing teams, and leadership.
What You’ll Own
- Architect scalable frontend systems across complex AI-native workflows.
- Build reusable component libraries and establish frontend engineering patterns.
- Own major user-facing product features from concept through production.
- Build polished, high-performance interfaces across real-time, AI-powered, and data-rich product surfaces.
- Translate complex technical functionality into clean, intuitive user experiences.
- Use AI tools to rapidly prototype, iterate, and ship production-quality frontend experiences.
- Help improve frontend development workflows, code review, architecture, and software delivery practices.
Core Requirements
- 6+ years of experience shipping production-grade software.
- Senior to Staff-level frontend engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
- Strong frontend architecture, performance, state management, API integration, and component systems experience.
- Experience building polished user-facing products, not just internal tools or isolated features.
- Strong product judgment, design instincts, ownership, and high personal agency.
- Experience using AI development tools as part of your day-to-day engineering workflow.
- Availability to work in-person in San Francisco 5 days per week.
Useful Extras
- Prior founder, founding engineer, or early-stage startup experience.
- Experience with real-time frontend systems.
- Experience with WebRTC, video pipelines, streaming, or similar technologies.
- Experience building AI-native user interfaces.
- Experience with generative dashboards or dynamic UI systems.
- Voice AI product experience.
- Python backend familiarity for occasional cross-functional work.
- Strong portfolio, GitHub, product demos, or evidence of shipped work.

- $250,000–$315,000 base salary.
